With all the songs playing over warm vinyl static, Rose infuses a warm feeling of nostalgia, borrowing your imagination, taking you away and bringing you back in one piece. As an unsigned producer/songwriter Loyiso aka Deepfish paints a vivid picture of an owner of a small seaside bar sweeping the floor prior to closing up for the night through Closing Time which ironically, opens and sets the scene. Evening Glow's chilled house instrumental feel takes you away even further and makes it hard to listen without a cocktail in your hand with the occasional head nod followed. After the first three instrumentals, Loyiso's vocals can be heard on Love For The First Time over a deep tech house vibe beat. Over & Over and Rather Be (With You) present an experimental side to Loyiso moving away from his usual electronic/deep house nature to a more RnB and Hip Hop influenced music.
